The Script
Fill in the blank!
One day, a mother and her son were travelling to a ______ (1) land through a dense forest. It was very dark in the forest and quite difficult for them to see all the roots and thorns along the narrow path.
A Mother: “This is a very thick forest, dark too.”
A Son: “Yes mom. Be careful not to thick on these roots.”
            Suddenly, a gang of robbers came their way. The robbers told them that they were going to _____ (2) them. The boy had a brave and courageous heart and he told his mother to stand aside while he _____(3) the bad men.
A Mother: “The robbers want to kidnap us! Let’s run!
A Son: “Don’t worry mother. Stand aside, I will ____(4) them!”
            The robbers were scared off by the son’s courage and ran away. The frightened mother came forward and hugged her son.
A Son: “Run away robbers! Or I’ll shoot these ____(5) right up your nose! Yes! They are gone.
A Mother: “My little darling! You are so brave!
            They continued down the path. Suddenly, a tiger appeared from behind a tree. The mother started panicking, but the son was not scared. “I’ll get rid of the tiger. I have strength and valor!”
A Tiger: (Roaarrr!)
A Mother: “What is that behind that tree? Oohh no! It’s a ___(6) tiger!”
A Son: “Don’t you worry, Mom. I can deal with it.”
            The fierce tiger advanced and just when he was ready to pounce, the boy raised his bow and shot at the tiger. The shot missed! The boy quickly loaded his bow and shot again, hitting the tiger in the shoulder.
A Son: “Come… you ____(7). I will fight you.
            The arrow only made the tiger angry and he leapt onto the boy. The boy and the tiger wrestled and the boy was badly hurt. The mother began to scream for help.
A son: “Agrrhh! I won’t let you harm us!
A Mother: “Help! Help! Somebody please save my son.
            Finally, The tiger realized that he was not match for the mighty boy and he ran back into the woods. The mother hugged her son and ____ (8) him for taking such a risk. The boy told her that he was ready to face any danger to save her.
A Mother: “Fighting a tiger? My boy, what were you thinking?”
A Son: “Anything for you mom. And now the tiger is running away.”
            Nightfall was upon them, the boy made a tent out of hay for his mother to rest in. Then he gathered logs for a ____ (9) and picked fruits for their supper.
A Mother: “It’s getting too dark to keep walking. Let’s stop for the night.
A Son: “I’ll make you a ____ (10) and bring some fruits to eat.”
            Suddenly, the clock alarm rang and the boy woke up from his sleep. “Time to get up my boy.” His mother said in a panic “Or you are going to be late for school!” Then he understood that his adventures saving his mother were all a dream, and though he did not have a tiger to wrestle, he could help her by listening and getting himself ready for the day.
A Mother: “Time for school, sweetie!”
A Son: “Ha…! Oh! It was all a dream.
